Carey Lindley

Born William C. Lindley, Jr., “Carey” was raised by his father William C. Lindley Sr, from Huntsville, Texas, a General in the United States Air Force. During his service he flew B17 bombers over Japan during World War II and later became Commandant of the ROTC for the Air Force. At 15, Carey left home to work as a cowboy on ranches in Montana. Stacking hay and training horses, he fell in love with cowboy life and the old west lifestyle. This love has remained with him throughout his life.

Enlisting in the Marines at 17, Carey graduated out of boot camp as an expert shot, Private First Class, with honors. While serving 4 years in the Marine Corps Reserve he remained motivated to stay in top physical shape and went to work as a trainer in the health & fitness industry. After 6 successful years helping many people achieve physical fitness he relocated to Los Angeles, California where he secured work in the motion picture industry.

Carey progressed from the position of cable man, in charge of sound equipment, to head of the sound-mixing department. This progression usually takes 10 to 12 years but was accomplished by Carey in just 8 months. During 35 years in the motion picture industry he worked on numerous motion picture productions including Jake & The Fat Man, Young Guns, The Quick And The Dead, That’s Entertainment, and more recently, Roswell. He has also worked on major television productions as the Olympic Games and with such artists as Willie Nelson, The Carpenters, Joe Cocker and The King - Elvis Presley.

Today, aged 63 years, Carey still competes in the Senior Pro Rodeo Association as a team roper and has helped establish a cattle drive company. Despite a successful career, he maintains that the most important thing he has done in his life was to enlist with the Marines. He says, “Although I have been successful in numerous ways, none of it comes close to the pride, honor, sense of accomplishment and comradeship I felt from my short time in the United States Marine Corps. I have always had great respect for those who place themselves in harm’s way to make America a safer place to live. Special Ops Nutrition, is my long desired way to give something back”.

In 2002, after losing 2 Navy S.E.A.L. friends, Carey commissioned work on a product to provide the mental, physical, and recovery support for today’s military service men and women. The results were a product that delivered incredible sustained energy, endurance, focus, and quick recovery in a convenient, portable capsule formula. Being a capsule makes it’s easy to take along on missions, to the job site, to the gym, or wherever you may need sustained energy, focus, endurance and quick recovery. Carey’s main drive was to get this into the military but he also had another idea: To sell this product to the military and have them, military personnel, bring it to the public.

Carey’s thought was, why not be a trusted source for the public to buy health products? Carey knew that many people would like to help support those in the military somehow but are saddled with their own financial problems. By purchasing a product like Combat Endurance Carey thought it would be a great way to support our troops and the customer gets a great healthy product they can believe in and use. With this desire to support our troops Carey created the Deeds of Valor Foundation to support downed soldiers and military families. Combat Endurance is our first product, soon to be followed with a full line of nutritional product to support military in the field. All of these products will be offered to the public on our website www.CombatEndurance.com.
